Endurance Swim Workout

Time to get back in the pool or punch it up a bit for those early season races.  Here is a nice little set that I did this morning.  Always warm up and cool down — working it in with what time you have to train. Adapt the times so you can hold your interval to the end.

Warm up (can include some drills)

4 x 50 yards on 1 minute (or adapt so you have 10ish seconds of rest)

2 x 100 yards on 2 minutes

1 x 200 yards on 4 minutes

2 x 100 yards on 2 minutes

4 x 50 yards on 1 minute

Repeat a second time using fins and same intervals.  Go faster and appreciate that you have more rest.

Cool down (if you have time do 200 IM in addition to mix things up a bit)

Enjoy and thank you Randy for this nice endurance set this morning!
