Tim O’Donnell – USA’s Best Hope for Kona?

Last weekend, American Tim O’Donnell pounded out a confident early season win in the San Juan 70.3, ahead of Leon Griffin and Axel Zeebroek. After a disappointing Kona appearance and then a painful run that got him 2nd in Arizona, he figured out that a gluten sensitivity  was causing him to perform under his ability. With the new dietary restrictions, O’Donnell has solved his stomach problems and could indeed be the USA’s next best hope for the Kona crown. Can O’Donnell challenge Crowie on the run? Will the Raelert brothers have a K-Swiss redemption challenge? The season is young but could be one of the most exciting ones yet.
