It’s been said that Caroline Steffen is the next heir to the crown of Chrissie Wellington.  At the hot and humid Philippines 70.3, the race for second was more exciting as Steffen cruised to yet another win only a week after winning the ITU Long Distance Championship race. Team TBB member coached by Brett Sutton is having the year of her life with dominating wins in all distances. And with a win like today in the Philippines, with hot Kona-like conditions, she is showing that Kona is her race to lose. Bree Wee put in her best performance all year to take second after she nearly lost her pro card just weeks ago. And last years winner, the amazing 40-year-old Belinda Granger took third in style.

On the men’s side, Pete Jacobs pulled off a hat trick, winning again against the hard charging Cam Brown, also 40 and having a phenomenal year. Steffen’s teammate Mathieu O’Halloran took third.
